LAKOTOBIOS-P contains specific lactic acid bacteria propagated according to a special process. All these microorganisms are present in the product. LAKOTOBIOS-P may any time be activated in a suitable environment, especially, prevailing in the intestinal tract of animals and poultry, since these lactic acid bacteria are normal inhabitants of the intestine in both humanity and animals.
Due to special properties, acquired during the manufacturing process, these microorganisms are capable of surviving without damage in an environment where a strongly acidic pH-value is prevailing.

LAKOTOBIOS-P is being manufactured in Taiwan, on the basis of a permit granted by the Feed Production Bureau of Taiwan under strict supervision by a veterinary health officer. Use as a feed additive is permitted on the basis of a grant issued by the government.
Specific lactic acid bacteria highly concentrated (1g contains at least 20,000,000 to the maximum 100,000,000 viable bacteria).
In an attempt to obtain stabilization the final step of the production process is careful drying of the fermentation mass. The final product
LAKOTOBIOS-P has a humidity of 10% at the maximum. LAKOTOBIOS-P is packed in PVC bags or cans and retains its full biological activity at least one year under cool and dry conditions. LAKOTOBIOS-P represents a flour-like product of white color and is available in 20 kilogram PVC-coated paper bags.
Very simple: may be mixed into all types of animal feeds.
LAKOTOBIOS-P can be added to the feeds for as long as desired, without any danger of a build-up of resistance. There is also no danger of side effects, since these bacteria are normal physiological inhabitants of the intestinal tract. LAKOTOBIOS-P is resistant against many antibiotics and medicines as well except Aprimycin, C.P.C., Penicillin, Tylosin, Furazolidon, Zin. Bacitracin. But it is considered to have a necessary application of LAKOTOBIOS-P after using above mentioned antibiotics and medicines.

LAKOTOBIOS-P is an entirely biological feed additive whose effects are exclusively originating during the digestive process in the animals and poultry. The use of LAKOTOBIOS-P causes no resistant problems whatever – is based on the use of bacteria which are safe even for human health.

LAKOTOBIOS-P has also a positive influence on the animals’ appetite.
Simultaneously with the propagation of the microorganisms an autolysis of the bacteria takes place; as a result of this process, biologically highly valuable bacterial protein is available to the organism.
Since bacteria do not actually depend upon essential amino acids for their propagation and are capable of utilizing no-protein-nitrogen but are during their propagation always producing biologically highly valuable bacterial protein with a high content of essential amino acids, the use of
LAKOTOBIOS-P permits a lower content of essential amino acids in the ration as would normally be required for maintenance of normal function of the organs.
In the in-vitro-culture lactic acid bacteria assist the build-up and promotion of the capacity of development of the other bacteria in acidulous environment and also prevent growth of pathogenic germs with a view to their stabilizing effect of th pH-value.
In vivo lactic acid bacteria are also preventing changes of the pH-value and consequently the possible development of pathogenic germs. In the case of use of urea as a source of non-protein nitrogen, lactic acid bacteria act as neutralizers for the ammonia released during the decomposition of urea by neutralizing the latter by means of lactic acid.
